Brazil: At the moment only captive bred Chelonoides carbonaria

Guyana : We work with two exporters that buy quota from other exporters. Guyana always used to be more interesting then Surinam as the prices were lower. A shift is taking place though and Surinam becomes more attractive to buy from as the quality is normally a bit higher. Available species from Surinam are nearly the same with the exception that Paleosuchus palpebrosus can be imported from Guyana but not from Surinam.

Surinam: We recently started negotionas with two Suriname exporters again and sent out the first offers to our customers.

Paraguay: Imports from Paraguay are very season bound of most of the frogs can only be found in the rainy season which normally is from October to February. Some of the species we offer are Melanophryniscus stelzneri, Phyllomedusa azurea and Phyllomedus sauvagei. 

Peru: We recently started with preparations for the import of farm bred Dendrobates ventrimaculatus "red phase" and Dracaena guinanensis. The EU already allowed teh import of the Dendrobates and we are waiting for a decission on the Dracaena.

Cameroon: We work with two exporters that for example supply us with the beautiful Chamaeleo quadricornis.

Chad : There is only one exporter in Chad that only supplies to Reptilia in Europe. So if you want to import Uromastyx dispar we are to place to come to.

Egypt : many small cheap desert lizards like Trapelus and Acanthodactylus. Imports take place from April to September.

Madagascar: This huge island has many endemic species like Furcifer pardalis, Furcifer lateralis, Phelsuma laticauda, lineata and many non-CITES lizards and frogs. We work with several exporters from Madagascar as they only have a small quota.

Sudan : Only one species is imported from Sudan. The Uromastyx ocellata.

Tanzania: This country has the largest selection of cheap lizards including Phelsuma dubia. We work with one exporter that buys quota from other exporters if needed.

West Africa : Species like Python regius and Varanus exanthematicus are imported from Ghana. Ghana has the advantage above other West African countries as they have more species that are allowed into the EU then from other West African countries. Unfortunately Pandinus imperator is no longer one of them. We work with two exporters in Ghana.

Indonesia: Many CITES species like pythons and monitors are available from Indonesia. We currently work with one exporter that gets us export permits fast. Also many non-CITES species are available. Import takes place year round.

Vietnam : Well known for species like Physignathus cocincinus, Takydromus sexlineatus and Hemidactylus frenatus. Vietnam only offers non-CITES animals. Imports take place year round.
